Where is the traffic going?

Hello. I was looking for a solution to the problem in Google, but either I was looking badly, or no one had a similar problem .. I don’t know.
The point is this. Bought a new computer. It's a pity to make holes in the wall to run a wire with the Internet. There is already a router at home, so I just bought a wi-fi adapter and inserted it into my computer. And that's where it all started. The signal seems to be strong, but the connection sometimes breaks and you have to reconnect. But that's not all. When I started downloading software for a new OS, I noticed that the speed was sooo small. If on a laptop it downloads from a torrent at least at a speed of 2-3 mb / s, then it barely reaches 800 kb / s. In the task manager, it shows reception at a speed of more than 5 megabits.

I decided to see where all the speed goes. It wasn't there! None of the applications reach reception even up to 600 kb / s.

I don't know if the problem is in the router, adapter or something else...
Well, that's all. Help, because there are no ideas at all.

More than 5 megabits is 5/8 = 625 kb, there is no error here, providers give the speed in megabits, so the numbers are larger, you need to understand that 1 byte = 8 bits. What you are shown in the programs is correct. Just the task manager shows in other units.

Look at how fast your computer clings to Wi-Fi, apparently at 5 megabits and therefore so slow.
