Where is the best place to store sass and coffee files in Yii2?

I looked at many projects - almost each of them has its own unique structure. Hence the question. Where is the best place to store coffee and sass files. And why?

Outside webbrute because they are not needed in webbrute. I store in `/assets/` where `` is `js`, `css`, `less`, `ts` etc.
