Is Yii2 bootstrap4 supported?

Good afternoon!
I have version 2.012 of yii2. As far as I understand, there is still no support for bootstrap 4, only bootstrap 3. Has anyone upgraded to 4 somehow and how? I have composer and openserver. Thank you!

And what does this have to do with the version of boostrap?
backend framework cannot support frontend at all.
You can remove bootstrap completely, you can change its version. All that will be a problem is with the widgets that come out of the box.
Will bootstrap4 be in the standard build of yii2 - as far as I understand, in one of the next major versions and not earlier than it (bootstrap4) will be released, because while it is beta. And sane yii developers will not shove it.

In my yii2 project, I downloaded the latest version of bootstrap 4 and jquery, put them in the web\css and web\js folder and overridden jqueryasset and bootstrapasset ( www.yiiframework.com/doc-2.0/yii-web-jqueryasset.html)
