Where is the best place to store order history?

Where is it better to store the order history, next to the product itself as embedded, or create a separate document?

As I know, there are two types of links in mono, an embedded document and a link. What confuses me is that if the user orders several products at the same time. In the case of embedd, order information is duplicated in each product document.
