Where does the memory go after mounting Raspbian??

Good day!! The third day I google, but I can’t really understand where the memory goes after mounting Raspbian on a micro-SD. It seems like I understood that the file system becomes FAT, but on the 16 GB card, only 63 MB remains. The axis in the unfolded state weighs about 4 GB.
So, how do I get the rest of the memory back??

Try mounting some fdisk and see if there is unallocated space on the card. Maybe you can create a partition on it and mount it to something.

Answer: During the installation of the system, most of the memory is formatted as ext4, which cannot be seen on Windows. And those 63 MB in FAT format is the boot partition.

The question is, the situation is the same, so the memory that is "taken" is it the memory of the operating system or is it just unallocated? And then the card is 32 gigabytes.
