Where does free space go on HTC Desire
Constantly pops up a message that there is not enough free space, although all the applications that could be moved to the memory card have moved everything.
Put App2SD - the program shows that out of ~ 150 megabytes of memory only 15 are free, and the applications that are on the phone take only 20 megabytes.
I cleared the cache with App Cache Cleaner.
I put programs only through the market, there is no root.
Where does the space go and how to fix it?

Dalvik cache basically. 150M of internal memory is nothing on the design. they drove through the black. Dalvik cash will take about 70 and will grow. And Skype alone eats its 25M installation. I'm not talking about some serious games.
It is solved by splitting the flash drive into an ext3 partition + a fat partition. I made a 2 gig ext3 partition, moved the application folder and the dalwick cache folder there. and put symbolic links in the main place.
There are special firmware, they do it automatically.
All installed packages (or some other slag), just in case, are stored in a temporary folder, where only root has the right to delete. So you have to root.
I had a very similar problem. The culprit is a standard browser that poured its cache into the internal memory of the phone.
Solution:
1) In a standard browser, clear the cache (Menu - More - Settings - Clear cache)
2) Install Dolphin, it has the function of storing the cache on the SD card
3) Forget about this problem forever :)
The 4th version of this axis, but still all clumsy!
Rave! 32 GB of free space 1 GB of RAM! 2 GB of internal memory.
It costs 10 small applications (notes, watches, etc.) and NOTHING CAN BE INSTALLED !!!
I accidentally wiped and now the mood is killed for a week ....
Since the Americans did not store contacts in google contacts ....
