Where do you take notes on code?

In addition to gist, if there is any convenient way to save code fragments and find it quickly later?

In editor snippets. It is obvious. And it's convenient to insert into the code later.

I store object classes in separate files named by purpose (class name) and include them in different projects depending on the task.

nowhere. since it is not necessary. copy-pasting pieces of code is a bad thing. if this happens, it makes sense to think about writing a utility class with such frequently used pieces of code. or take out in the base class or something else. anyway, it's time to refactor...
