Where do 3D phone models come from?
Recently there was a question about creating a 3D model in CAD. On the surface, the task seemed not very difficult, but as always, when the hands reached the practice, everything turned out to be not so simple. It seemed simply impossible, or very laborious, to repeat all the bends and fastenings of the body of the apparatus. And then a thought came. After all, our Far Eastern neighbors somehow produce these covers, at least for sale on ebay, and therefore, it is quite possible that they have models, or even made available to the public. And so the question is: Is there any way to get the case model? I say right away that the model is not needed in order to print your phones :) Only a slight modification of the back cover is required. I don’t indicate the phone model, because I haven’t decided yet, but most likely something from HTC.

About 3 years ago at the university they gave such a task. I had to make a 3D model of my phone in Autocad. Everything turned out to be quite real, like the model was made in a week.
