Where did the RAM on the computer go?

A girl contacted me with such a problem - she has only 2 out of 8 gigabytes of RAM available. Windows 7 Ultimate x64, I sin on the BIOS, but I have some doubts + I have no idea how I can fool around in it at a distance of 2000 kilometers.
What do you suggest?

No, the system indicates that there are 8 gigabytes of RAM and 2 of them are available, of which ~6 are reserved by the hardware.

Integrated vidyuha reserved, or what?
I have 16.0 G installed, 15.7 G is available - the video card is integrated.
Right now I'll see how much you can bite off in the BIOS.

Maybe someone stole the bar?) This is quite real, there have been cases.

When did the problem appear? Has anything been changed or fixed? Or turned off in the evening, turned on in the morning - there is no memory?
