Where did the line go?

In my opinion, earlier on Google Maps there was a ruler for measuring distances between two or more arbitrary points.
I can't find her.
Does it exist, and if so, where?

Yandex had and has a ruler, but Google doesn’t remember this one.

The ruler on Google Maps is called from the context menu.
Click the right mouse button (RMB) on the starting point of the measured line. In the menu that appears, select "Measure distance" . Then select the second point by clicking the left mouse button (LMB).
Wrong choice? It doesn't matter, the points can be moved as you like or removed from the menu by pressing RMB, or by clicking on the point itself.

Right click on the map. There is an opportunity to lay a route.

From the documentation:
"Note: The Ruler feature is not supported in the new Google Maps."

They suggest using the "How to get there" function instead, but this is completely different
