Where did deleted contacts come from in myChat?

The situation is this. Today I installed the myChat application on my smartphone (AndroidOS) . In contacts I found numbers of people with whom I have not communicated for 3 years. They are not in the Google account, nor in the phone itself. Most likely, they are saved somewhere on the SIM card, but where, if the built-in contact manager says that the SIM is empty? I would like to remove this once and for all. Will replacing the SIM card in the operator's cabin with a new one help?

Problem solved. Since myCom is a subsidiary of Mail.ru, the old database of contacts stored in the Mail.ru Agent has been moved to both ICQ linked to the same number and myChat. If suddenly it helps someone, just delete unnecessary contacts from the Agent, and everything will disappear in three places.

Security is such a thing .... Azaza. It seems that everyone is shouting that they are safe ... but no, no, and it will come up. Funny these applications (for communication). They just ask for access to contacts and are tied to a cell number. =) Gee!
