mod_php executes a WebDAV service script, to which the OPTIONS method does not reach, and, accordingly, many WebDAV clients do not work.

In the nginx + php fpm bundle, OPTIONS is passed, but TRACE is not passed. If TRACE is not needed, you can try nginx as an option :)
