Where can I take an English test for free?

Where can I take an English test for free so that I can indicate this in a resume for a web developer to confirm knowledge?
Do I need to take ielts or toefl, or are there any free tests that you can rely on and that the employer trusts?

Just pass any test and just indicate your level in your resume.
The English test is completed in 10-15 minutes, so if the employer has a suspicion, it will be easier for them to send you to their recruiting department, where this test will be administered under controlled conditions.
Usually no one needs a certificate in English, you need language proficiency at the level indicated in the vacancy.

There is a more in-depth free 2-hour test from EF that gives the same score as IELTS/TOEFL:

If your language level is important to the employer, then the only thing he will check is the ability to understand and speak English (most likely during the interview). IELTS or TOEFL is certainly cool, but for work, IMHO, bust, other pieces of paper are unlikely to have any value. If the task is to indicate the language level in the resume, then the query "english level test online" has a lot of results, take any
