Where can I read info on creating a custom smarthub for smart-tv?

I don’t want to use smarthub, which samsung offers for my smart-tv (because it installs a bunch of software without my knowledge, all this hangs TV very much). I want to explore the issue of writing a custom smarthub.
Has anyone done this? Tell me the details.

Samsung has an SDK on this topic, a Smart-TV emulator and a forum. But directly own smarthub hardly. Installing third-party applications can be done in developer mode, specifying the ip address of the application server (TheSmartDarkServer - it seems so).
