Where can I read about the rules for layout of e-mail newsletters that are relevant for 2018?

I'll tell you right away - I googled. I dug up a lot of things, but there are nuances ... Many articles on layout of letters are already with a beard, so to speak ... I would like to know if anyone knows where you can get acquainted with the current (2018) set of rules and techniques for layout of e-mail newsletters ? Taking into account the adaptive layout and all the new goodies that are now perceived by popular mailers. And then before, as it was: the picture from the background will be cut out, the styles in the style block will be cut out ... Well, you understand what I mean.

One way or another, you won’t be able to get an ideal display in all clients, so it’s better to analyze what email clients your database uses and figure out the same layout for Outlook and Gmail, questions usually arise with them. You can see examples of the layout of templates already tested in Litmus and emailonacid here stripo.email/en/templates/, you may find some answers to your questions.

Here you can see what different mailers "eat" and what they don't. And in general, form an opinion about what you want to use, based on what you want to support
