Where can I get Windows, to which the serial number from the sticker will fit?

I have a branded box with a Microsoft sticker on the polished side. The sticker is not simple, but with a serial number. It turns out that besides the fact that I am the owner of the box and the electronic content inside it, I am also the owner of the Windows license? Then the question is, where can I get a distribution kit, to which this serial is suitable? The licensed distributions I have reject this serial. A native CD is not attached to the box, because it is lost. Peer-to-peer networks are not suitable, I want everything to be in white gloves, to the music of Beethoven.

If Windows came with a box, then this is most likely an OEM version, you can download it from torrents, original OEM images, without cracks and similar heresy, and calmly install (taking into account the edition and version) with your serial number. Personally, I did this with windows 7 oem hom and everything perfectly accepted and works great.

Buy a disc on Avito ... I don’t want torrents, damn it =)
Why didn’t you like the torrents?

The distribution kit on torrents is identical to the licensed one both from a technical and legal point of view, except that it differs from a religious point of view. And the key that you have makes it licensed. So do not worry yourself and our brains, download the version you need from torrents / warezniks / anywhere and enjoy life.

If you want to "in white gloves" then you will have to _buy_ a new license, which comes with a disc. Well, or somehow get access (subscription) to msdn, then you can download the desired image from the MS website, although this is already different money ...
In general, the terms of the OEM license allow installation (activation) only once (on one computer). That is, even if you install it on a new computer and the serial is suitable, the activation will not work.
Although there is probably another way. If you find out exactly which version (edition) of WinXP your serial is suitable for, then you can try to look for an oem disk without a license: a hammer, ebay (although it’s unlikely if Windows is Russian) or which organization (if you know) the disk will sell / will give for symbolic money. Previously, XP (only a disk) on a softkey was sold for little money, but it seems to be only for organizations, and now pigs are not visible there.

And I have the opposite situation - I have a licensed XP Pro disk (found it), but there is no key to it! Those that were found on the net are not suitable. It's a pity to throw out the disk, such a beautiful one!

Download the iso image with a torrent client, extract pidgen.dll from it, for example, with 7-Zip.
Then you take programs like KeyCheck 1.0 or KeyTester 1.0 from wgapatcher.ru and test your Product Key with them.
Pre-installed Windows is usually Windows XP Professional SP 3 OEM or Windows XP Professional SP 3 OEM V2
Very rarely (on older computers) it can be Windows XP Professional SP 2 OEM - newer versions of Windows will not fit the key.
Sometimes three images are not enough - you have to look for the original one, or design a suitable distribution .
About distrust of torrent trackers - this is paranoia, and stupid, then download from MSDN.

Um. If I, it turns out, am a Microsoft customer, then why not turn on the "client" mode? We call Microsoft and describe the situation. We ask: "What to do?". Money like me paid - provide an opportunity!
Contacting Microsoft is the first thing I would try to get started. If everything is legal for you - what's wrong?

On the same computer - yes, you can (although there are also nuances with the replacement of iron, after replacing the Nth number of components, re-activation may be required). But initially I warned about another computer, tk. specifically mentioned "white gloves" (:
