Where can I get a bunch of avatars?

It took me quickly and preferably for free to find a bunch of pictures that would pass for avatars (about 1000 pieces).
Previously, I would write a script that pulls pictures from google search results, for example.
And now all the search engines have taken the fashion to generate a page of results with javascript ...
Ideas are needed.

There was a good flickholdr service , you could get a random size and content on the fly from flickr with the following syntax <img src="http://flickholdr.com/640/360/sunrise,ocean" />. It doesn't work at the moment, I don't know why. You can fork sources .

I would prefer to write some kind of grabber that would iterate over VK IDs knowing that you can get an avatar by the page ID if it has not been replaced with a lowercase equal to the login. for example from vk.com/id1 - vk.com/id99999999
Purely theoretically - many pages are now open for free access, and getting a photo on it is not very difficult.

Firebug, one regexp, and all the pictures are yours. Ajax is not as scary as it seems. In 2011, I downloaded google images without any problems (100k pieces). I took a look and nothing has really changed.
