I know only one adequate lib for AIR www.augmented-reality-games.com Can use arbitrary images as markers, ie. almost any picture or photo. Easy to use, connects as a Native Extension.
From the free FlarToolkit you can try. But I'm not sure what will pull the performance of mobile phones.
And yes, without programming skills it is better not to meddle.
