Where can I find (and is it possible at all) an OS from NAS WD My Cloud?

Where can I find (and is it possible at all) OS from NAS WD My Cloud? Or other paid NAS like synology or Dlink?
I would like to put their software on my hardware. Tell me who knows? Where to dig where to look?

Put on your iron? Will not work. Or you need hardware with an arm processor. There is a Linux, and a very non-standard one. With ssh cut off, with severely reduced functionality, access to the system not through the web interface is possible only through a shell script or A43. I fooled around for a long time with the restoration of the disk for my piece of iron after the fall (Seagate Business Storage 2TB 1-bay NAS), I barely found a system image. Discussion and images can be searched here .
The OS can be pulled out with an acronis or Image for Windows from an existing piece of hardware. Or search on off sites. In any case, a working NAS is needed for experiments.

As far as I understand, my hardware means a regular computer, and not something proprietary.
synology has a project called xpenology
other platforms don't have anything like this
