Where can I find an open source implementation of a biometric system for 3d face biometrics (verification + identification)?
To complete the task at the university, you need to find an open source implementation of a biometric system for 3d face biometrics. Where can you find it? For example here for 2d face biometrics www.neurotechnology.com/verilook.html. I can't find one for 3d faces yet.
And you also need a database with 1000+ samples, a suitable format for this system.

So what's wrong with your link?
1000+ per dollar, I think you can take a picture at the entrance to the university
Well, you have a problem, 3D scanners have become relatively affordable just recently, where should ready-made algorithms come from? Yes, and in the public domain?
What are you doing these 3D scans with? as far as I know, only apple is probably doing this in the consumer sector, in its latest iphone X
ps on the topic, collect dataset, saw neural networks, just don’t feed them with raw data, if you don’t have good computing power for free, stretch the data into an abstract face and feed the grid with data of deviations from it, perhaps if you solve the first problem well, neural networks will not be needed.
