I (let's say) made its working prototype, but for it to reach at least the level of self-sufficiency, investments of funds that I do not have in free circulation are necessary. Moreover, this project does not require multi-million investments, while it is quite profitable, and I can argue its profitability to the investor. Investments are needed in the order of 200-300 thousand rubles (mainly for the promotion of the service, advertising).
What do you advise? I have never worked with investors, do I need any guarantees, licenses, documents? And yes, is it possible to avoid all these "formalities" if it is an online business? ) And what are the usual conditions for cooperation with an investor? Would it not turn out that it was easier for me to spend half a year or a year and accumulate these funds, rather than receive about 5-10% later, and the rest is all for the investor?

This shows you as:
1) A person who is incapable of making money on his own
2) A person who will not be interested in anything other than getting money. There is no question of any desire to develop the project on your part.
3) Shows you are either a fraudster or a person who is not capable of anything

5-10% - you have no interest at all, why does an investor need such risks in your disinterest.

Typical investments are 800,000 rubles or 1.5 million rubles at the initial stages, for example.
If you can’t earn 300,000 on your own (which for IT is not a completely ridiculous amount, but not so big, since now there is a boom in IT and there is a hunt for good specialists and good salaries are offered), then you can’t do anything and earn millions. Spending - no special mind is needed.

You can easily earn 300,000 or take a loan yourself (relatives, friends will help).

I would not trust my 300,000 to a person who is not able to earn at least 100,000. A person in the IT field who is really capable of something earns 100,000 in 0.5-2 months.

If you need such little money, then it is better not to look for an investor, but to save up yourself or take it from relatives. Better yet, find a way to do it without a budget or drastically reduce your investment. From my difficult experience, I can say that when creating a startup, obligations multiply very easily, but then it takes years to clear them up.
