I know that openstreetmap has a database with cities, streets and houses and their coordinates. Where can I download this information from them for a specific city?

Determine the region in which your city is located, download the file (rather big), then pick out the geometry of the houses and their addresses.
By the way, this feature (mapping human addresses to features ) is called geocoding .
