Where can a beginner learn IT technologies?

Hello. The question is: are there any organizations where you can learn at least something in IT for free/small money on the example of real tasks?
The ideal option would be a summer internship, but companies need, so to speak, "experienced" interns who know PL / technology at a fairly high level, which I have not reached yet.
Level of knowledge: C language from scratch, studied for six months at a decent university as part of a real-time operating system.
Particularly interested in infocommunications, writing drivers, working with RTOS

In general, an internship (summer practice) in companies is the minimum that a beginner with a small set of knowledge in IT can count on. So targeting only those companies that suit your interests is a small chance to find something to do for the summer. You will have to write to everyone who is somehow connected with IT in your city, but, of course, give priority to those to whom the soul lies.

Go to hh.ru, look at the IT vacancies in your city that are of interest, contact them by mail with an offer?
Or - find out in any way about IT-offices in your city, contact them by mail with an offer?
