Where (books, websites, videos) to find information for the rapid development of server web-technologies?

I make websites. At the same time, I am far from understanding what DNS is and what it is for, the principle of operation of IP is also not very clear to me, I only know that "it exists", etc., etc. (I don't even remember the abbreviations).
Every time when registering a new domain, I don’t understand at all what and why I need to register - I torment the support or point my finger at the sky without understanding what is happening.
This is bad, and I would like to have an understanding of web technologies in general, otherwise it turns out that I don’t dive deeper than php and even with Apache and .htasses commands I’m familiar with it.
Question: What to read for not too deep (useful in everyday life) understanding how web technologies work. The "not too deep" clause implies that I can't afford to spend dozens of hours on it. But some book, where everything is sensibly and clearly described, it would be quite useful to read.

What to read for a not too deep (useful in everyday life) understanding of the work of web-technologies of network technologies
Read Wikipedia. All the answers are there. The area itself is very extensive, there are no specific books, in any case, I am not aware of, which superficially touch upon all the questions you need at once.
Therefore, you are unlikely to read such works by Uncles Olifer or Tanenbaum "Computer Networks". There is a very solid enough deep dive into the topology of network protocols.
If you yourself do not learn how to search for information, you will not achieve anything. There are a lot of articles on the Internet for your question. many times it has already been chewed and described. bit.ly/1oeRZS8
But no, everyone is creating questions that have been answered for a long time in the hope of the "magic wand" principle.
