Where and how to update lists of certificates for Windows 7 and browser?

It may happen that existing root or revoked certificates may be changed or removed. How do I make sure my system has up-to-date data.
Particularly in Moziila Firefox.
I found CRL in Firefox pocitace.tomasek.cz/CRL-in-Firefox-Thunderbird/
but how up-to-date will the data from there be?
How do I check every certificate present in a system or browser trust?

Through Windows Update. There are updates that update these certificates. It's obvious from their name.
