Where and how to start freelancing Android development?
I'm a beginner Android developer and I want to earn some money (I have to start sometime :D), but here's the problem: there are no projects for Android on all popular exchanges, or ONLY FOR PRO or (in international) up to 20 people are recruited in a matter of minutes (and many of them - these are companies that just monopolized the exchange).
So the question is: on which exchanges is it best to start freelancing or how to make yourself known (what would the customers themselves offer projects to you)?

Wool exchanges in search of small orders for a couple of hours, or up to $ 100 at a flat price. It is easier to give a small task to a competent developer than to wait until a large company spins up its bureaucratic machine.
There you need to compete with the Indians and the Chinese, but you need to fight with them with quality. For starters - the quality of the cover letter. Write down exactly how you will solve the problem. No template letters!
And then from smaller to larger, plus you will gain experience on how to organize your work in general. It is unlikely that you will be able to immediately cope with a large project.
Persistence and hard work - and everything will work out.
Before you start making money programming, you should write at least one full-fledged application and put it on Google Play so that real people can use it. You will be surprised how many pitfalls await you even with the simplest applications consisting of several Activities.

Only I have a cognitive dissonance in this place?
If I understood correctly, then the question can be reformulated as follows:
"I can't do anything, I want money. Give me the address where the money is just handed out."
All at once. Somewhere, yes, the project will come across (although it is unlikely).
If you had to write an application, would you go looking for a non-named developer with a job and a half? In which case? Where? Or maybe you would scatter orders on the exchanges yourself and choose among those who have more skill and more confidence?
I will tell you a secret to be the first in the first seconds and you will have no competitors.
First, go to freelance exchanges and earn "chips" and upgrade your portfolio. After a certain experience and development of a name, customers will find you themselves and offer cooperation on a short-term or long-term basis.
PS If you break down on the exchange, then freelancing, alas, is not for you. Maximum look for remote work in the office. I think it's pointless to throw links to sites, everything is fine to google.
lhjlbjyjd , the principle is simple, choose an exchange where there are fewer more experienced competitors and more loyal conditions for freelancers. I also, once, started and I was most fortunate in this regard on Workzila . There is another unique project to help you - this is Quark .
Good luck!
