Where and how to look for a partner for a startup?

Good evening

  • There is an 80% completed pilot startup focused on the US and European market
  • There is a team of 8 people, 3 owners + 5 developers, etc. (development - well delivered, marketing - at the planning stage, but all 3 owners have experience in one or another marketing channel)
Now there is a problem of finding (in Europe or the USA) a partner with experience
  1. In attracting investment
  2. organizational matters
  3. legal issues
Would not mind the following information:
  1. Resources where you can find such partners
  2. Links to articles, forums where you can read information about how to find partners on the Internet, points that you should pay attention to when "interviewing" with a future partner
And also:
  1. Maybe someone from here present has experience with finding partners in their startups?
  2. Maybe someone has contacts of people (from Europe, USA) who are actively looking for a promising startup?

You need to look for a partner as well as an investor, only you do not need a financial resource from him. You need an angel with the right competencies or contacts. Send materials if the project is interesting, perhaps I can advise some option. Skype is in my profile.
You can get contacts from local angels, people who do what you need in foreign markets. Another option is to immediately negotiate with a fund or an accelerator abroad.

Go abroad. There are no investors in Russia. There are collectors of BP (business plans). In Russia, everything will be dull with this for 30 years, when the oil starts to run out. Do NOT think and go west.

Didn't find what you were looking for?
