Where and how can I find a DVD-SSD adapter for TOSHIBA L855?

I tried to search on AliExpress, there is for Toshiba, but not for a specific model. In appearance, it seemed to me that all the adapters sold are the same, tk. are not at all made from the outside in the original design, like the laptop drives themselves, even if it is written that the adapter is for a specific model. In other words, laptop cases are rounded, and all drives sold are flat-ended. Consequently, the difference between adapters for a particular laptop model lies in its internal design, which means, it seems to me, one adapter model can be suitable for several laptop models from the same manufacturer at once.
If you had experience in selecting such an adapter, please tell me how to find the correspondence of components between different laptop models, or please point out where I am mistaken. Thank you!

You need to unscrew your dvd drive and measure its thickness. Adapters come in three sizes - 7, 9 and 12mm - you need to choose an adapter that is the same thickness as your current actuator. And yes, they are all the same.

Usually, a rounded overlay for a specific laptop is snapped onto the flat end of a universal DVD drive or adapter.
You need to remove the drive, as Roman Crabbs writes , measure it and make sure that there is an overlay and it snaps off. Then buy a universal adapter of the right size and flip the overlay onto it.
