When is Apache used?
Judging by NetCraft's statistics, the Apache HTTP server is still the most popular. I wonder why. In what cases does its use even make sense in a modern context?

.htaccess in directories (no need for root rights) and the easy ability to run different sites from different users. Like so.
Where did you find this statistic?
Something I do not believe that ISS can stand in 2nd place. And it seems to me that nginx has long supplanted Apache.
Perhaps it is still a covenant, because some put nginx as the main server, and proxy it inside the server where several apache hangs, it seems that you can somehow achieve multithreading there.
