When I study C#, I often don't understand how these techniques can be applied, what can be done?

Good afternoon. I want some advice: I study C sharp, I watch ITVDN videos, then I rewrite their examples, I try to use the examples in my own way.
The problem is that I understand what they say, I understand when I rewrite examples and try to do my own, but I can’t understand how to use it and where to apply it. Is it due to lack of experience or practice? Or is this thinking?
How to change it? Has anyone encountered such situations? what can be done? Or am I learning wrong?

I think you need practice, practice and more practice...
Try to find tasks or exercises in C#, try to take a ready application like MusicStore and add/change some functionality. Start writing your blog, for example, and don't be afraid to take something as a basis.

I know people who are completely incapable of imperative programming. They are not stupid, it's just not their "thinking". By the way, I understand the functionality approximately as you described: everything seems to be clear, but what to do with it - FIG knows. But yes - your question lacks specifics.

Hmm...
I'll try that.
Maybe I explained it wrong. The bottom line is who had this and how to fix it. who has come across this.
It's like I have the ingredients, I know and understand what they are and what they are for, but I can't cook the dish.
What needs to be done to get understanding?
One more example. A friend told me to make an Address Book. I could not get. he did, showed me and I know and understand it all, so why couldn't I do it myself. (I tried to do it without peeping, I can do it with examples).
