When I put 120 hertz, the picture becomes faded. I have a gtx 660 and hdmi that came with the monitor. A 144 hertz Windows monitor allows a maximum of 120 hertz. What is the problem?

There have already been such problems and they always write HDMI 1.4A / B DOES NOT WORK WITH 144Hz AND THE COMPLETE CABLE DOES NOT GUARANTEE 100% SUPPORT OF THE MAXIMUM HERZ MONITOR. But on the card itself 1.4a, so the version of the standard wire is not important, it will not work.

Apparently 660 does not support hdmi at 144Hz.
