The problem is this, since yesterday in google chrome the search through the search bar has stopped working normally. I enter a query into the search engine -> I press Enter -> and my query is deleted and an empty Google page opens (such a link https://www.google.ru/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instan... ).
Google Chrome did not update during this period, did not install extensions.

The problem was with the McAfee SiteAdvisor extension.

Look in the properties of the browser shortcut for the path where it is installed and all the files are located, if you have a strange directory there, it seems to me that you have a virus.
