When I connect to a computer via RDP, are my actions visible on the display of that computer?

A belated clarification: I was wondering if the actions are visible on the physical monitor of the server computer.

No.
But on the terminal server, the admin can connect to the session and watch what is happening.

There are several answers:
1. if you connect to Windows XP / vista / 7 / 8 under the account of the connected user, you will disconnect it (or rather, connect to its session)
2. if you connect to Windows XP / vista / 7 / 8 under the account of another user - then the user will receive a notification that another
one is connecting his session)
4. if you connect to Windows Server 2000 / 3 / 8 / 2012 (provided the terminal service is up) under the user account (when the restriction on one session is removed), nothing will happen, you will connect in parallel.
In all options, the user must have permissions for terminal connections.
In options 3/4, the server administrator can see the connections in the connection manager of the terminal server.

No. RDP session is opened only for one participant. thus, if you log in under the “User” account, which is currently logged in on the computer to which you are connecting via RDP, then you will simply intercept its session.

Also noticed this thing. The user works from home via RDP, I connect to his computer via DameWare and voila, I see his actions, although in theory I should see the login screen.
