When connecting via socks5 on Android installed on a virtual machine (Virtualbox or Wmware), there is no Internet. What could be the problem?

Used the following applications: Proxydroid, Proxy manager. Installed Android 4.0. It seems to be doing everything right, but ip remains the same as on my native machine.
