When connecting a USB hub on a Mac mini (2018), does the computer's shared hotspot drop?

When you disconnect usb from a poppy, a computer access point immediately appears on smartphones. The poppy has 2 usb ports, and both of them, when connected, cut off the distribution of the Internet. What could be the problem ?
