They don’t test you for knowledge, they just look at what you have already done. That's where your knowledge should be.

Because this is a stupid question that only schoolchildren ask (this is not an insult), how many people have so many opinions.
My advice: do programming if you are interested in more than playing games. Learn layout, javascript (not jquery!!!) and practice on websites. Learning to google, learning English is also very important.
