What you need to know to program your devices on the raspberry pi?
I want to warn you that I'm new to this business, the reason for this question - I was interested in a video called "HACKED THE DOOR BELL! NEIGHBORS IN SHOCK" where, in fact, the author assembled his device on a raspberry pi. He intercepted the signal of the calls (when someone pressed the call), processed it using a script on the computer (Linux), and after the actions taken, he could send packets to this signal, which contributed to the pressing of the call (i.e. from sending packets, and the call started ringing).
So, what do you need to know and in what direction to dig in order to program the same things in the future?
At the moment, I know C and C ++ well, I also learned Python well.

You need to know how to work with iron - frequencies, modulation, receiver / transmitter modules. Let's say the signal is in
64-QAM - how do you hack it, which receiver module do you choose, what settings will you transfer to it. And you don’t need a lot of mind to crack a moronic Chinese call - you could just record the signal (on magnetic tape) and you don’t need any pie for this.
