Hello, please tell me if it makes sense to go to Russian freelance exchanges, just to fill out a portfolio, or can I immediately go to upwork (there are no problems with English)? Where will it be easier to get the 1st order and is it possible to add sites designed for yourself to your portfolio, i.e. not real projects, and will there be legal issues due to the fact that I use someone else's (albeit free) psd templates?
