What VK application to create to work with the Java SDK VK API?

I want to embed authorization through VK in my Java application. I plan to use Java SDK for VK API. Which application should I create - standalone, web or iframe? What is the difference?

Standalone application - applications for phones or desktop programs. (what you need)
Embedded application - applications on the internal platform of VKontakte ( vk.com/apps ) and applications for groups.
The difference is that each type of application has its own settings and therefore they are separated. Some types need to be tested, others do not. Various customization fields, etc.
