What video surveillance systems can copy video from sd flash drives of video surveillance cameras to an archive? Can you provide both commercial and free systems?

Such things are guaranteed to work only with vendors selling complete systems - their own cameras + their own VMS. The Chinese (HIkvision, Dahua) work, but manually. Panasonic has implemented - the camera writes to the card when the connection is lost, after the restoration, the registrar downloads the recorded data to the archive. Milestone has, of course, such functionality from partners, for some version, used on three projects. The Avigilon offered this functionality, but like the Panasonic it's a sealed system, and quite expensive. All that I know, I cannot recommend, for various reasons, to choose better on your own, knowing the requirements and limitations of the future (modernized) system. If the task is limited to the SOHO segment, and there is a zoo of five cameras, write your script better,
