What version of iPhone makes sense to use for app testing?

Actually, I want to buy an iPhone solely for testing applications. All devices with which the last axis is compatible are listed here
. Does this mean that anyone can take? 5s for example? or even 5c?
In particular, I'm interested in BLE and all the possibilities that are associated with regular bluetooth and wifi

If you plan to test for a long time, then the newer the better.
If for 2-3 years old, then six is enough.

It all depends on what applications you will write: those that eat a lot of the processor are better to test them on the oldest device to be sure that they will not slow down on the new ones. For example, I have 3 supported applications that should support iOS 6, respectively, I have an iPod with iOS 6 and a Pad 2 with iOS 6, I can’t do without them.
In your case, you can take 5s / 5 to start, and then buy something modern.
