What version of ASP.NET is relevant to learn now?

I know a little c#, I wrote some simple winforms programs, now I want to learn asp.net, but I don't know which version is relevant now?
And how can we integrate them with angular 2?

I am learning ASP Core. The same ASP MVC 5 is only cross-platform. It integrates great with Angular 2. You can say native)

For what purpose? Absolutely any choice is made according to the same algorithm, look at the vacancies where you want to work and their requirements, if something is not there, then it’s not a problem to write to them, if the company is large, then you can find and talk to already settled employees in person, you need to act, a rolling stone gathers no moss.

First learn asp.net 4.6 (with mvc 5 and webapi), and then asp.net core. For while the bulk of projects are on ASP.Net 4.6, asp.net core is still a young technology, and there are very few in production. At some points, the old and new ASP.Net are very different (for example, the initial application configuration, middleware, DI, EF Core), but knowing the old one, it will not be difficult to switch to the new one.
well, the main site https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/aspnet/core/ , the latest and most relevant documentation
