How to send password recovery emails in asp.net core?

When creating a basic site on asp.net core mvc, templates are immediately created that allow you to recover your password by mail. However, initially it doesn't work. Here is an instruction where we use a third-party SendGrid service to send letters - dock
Using such services on small volumes does not seem adequate, is there a way to do it all "natively" on the asp.net core itself?
