What usually works better - exporting from MS Office to LibreOffice format or importing to LibreOffice in MS Office format?
There are two (main, more or less direct) ways to convert documents (I'm primarily interested in tables, but sometimes text documents need to be transferred too): export from MS Office when we select OpenDocument as the format of the saved document for subsequent opening in LibreOffice and import in LibreOffice when we open an MS Office document in it. Which of these paths is better in your experience? Which method is more reliable in terms of ensuring that no information is lost, nothing is re-rounded, encodings do not go (when opening an old-type XLS in LibreOffice, for example, they go for me), etc.?
