How to stretch selection over merged cells in libreoffice calc?

Found strange work LibreOffice Calc. If you fill several merged cells with the necessary data and try to stretch the selection to neighboring, the same merged ones, Calc separates the lower cells and fills them in a way that is not quite expected:
