What universal XML parser to choose for its completion?

Good afternoon! :)
I need to parse responses from different XML sources. We need an XML parser in php with the ability to take only the data I need from and then call them in a loop s2s pixels (Server PostBack) in turn through cron (once an hour).

Are there any open source ones that would be easy to modify? I will be very grateful :)

It is not necessary to search / develop dubious bikes, as well as use parsers in interpreted languages.
There is a DOMDocument class using libxml. Parsing XML from a string to the DOM is done through the loadXML method .
