Only AMOLED does not distort. A little distorted on IPS, and very much on TN. It also depends on the quality and the company.

I am for IPS - I do not really recommend LOC monitors, I am dissatisfied with the color reproduction of
lg, sams, asus - they are adequate, at a good price
