What troubles can a developer have after signing an NDA?

I'm settling into part-time remote work. They offered to sign an NDA, and there are serious fines for disclosing information. In general, all points are feasible, but the fines are frightening - several hundred thousand rubles. Did you have any problems after signing non-disclosure agreements? For example, in case of accidental violation of requirements with ambiguous interpretation?
Or is it usually a mere formality and nothing to be afraid of?

That’s why they write fines so that they don’t think to disclose it
in the conditions of the Russian Federation, it’s difficult to officially get into such a thing, you can score,
but suddenly you go to work in the USA and cross
