What topic to choose for a thesis in the field of cloud technologies?

Goodnight!
I am a 5th year student, specialty "Integrated protection of informatization objects" (090900.62.01). I plan to thoroughly work on a diploma on an interesting, relevant and promising topic, and continue to "swim in the clouds" in the future.
Directly interested in the direction "Security of cloud technologies" (everything connected with it), and if a narrower direction - SaaS security solutions (SaaS is of course not necessary, but the most interesting model).
Please advise the topics that, in your opinion, will be the most interesting and promising. Thank you in advance!

Analysis of event logs (Windows events, proxies, FW, user activity) or certain selections from them in the clouds.
Cloud antiviruses (hash, parts of a file or whole files are uploaded to the cloud for analysis).
DLP as SaaS
Antispam as SaaS based on headers.
etc.
In principle, almost anyone can be chosen as a security service. But you need to understand that "clouds for the sake of clouds" is not serious. You must convincingly demonstrate both the benefits of SaaS and your personal ability to correctly separate the local and cloud parts of the process - to take all the advantages from the new paradigm without losing (without worsening) any of the quality indicators (ratio "FP; FN", speed). The only indicator that you have the right to "deteriorate" is the cost, and only on condition that you significantly improve any of the quality indicators. Ideally, for a diploma thesis - do not worsen the cost, otherwise any specialist from the commission will be able to “fill you up” if they wish, proving that the improvement you proposed is not worth such additional costs.
In the end, a diploma is your qualifying work in a technical, in fact, engineering specialty. If you want, write "in a personal".

Unfortunately, where there is a place for security, companies are not willing to go for cloud solutions. Purely according to my observations, it is important for business to protect itself from surprise factors. It could be a flood/fire/tax mask show.
In this regard, bundles of corporate clouds and external ones can be promising.
For example, Eucaliptus as an enterprise cloud in Amazon EC2 compatibility mode. Backups, for example, are stored in encrypted form somewhere in another country.
By pressing the red button and entering the master password, all backups are automatically deployed on Amazon and the enterprise continues to work.
The enterprise can continue to work even in the event of the removal of all servers or a raider seizure of the building. It is even possible to transfer all employees temporarily to work from home remotely.
Here is my IMHO =)
