What topic of master's thesis to choose?

Hi all!
Entered the master's program in the specialty "Linguistic CAD tools for ultra-large-scale integrated circuits and systems on a chip" and faced the problem of choosing the TOPICAL topic of the master's thesis.
In addition to the fact that the topic should be related to electronics, I would really like to somehow connect it more with programming (Java would be ideal in general). But unfortunately, I haven't found anything interesting for myself in Google.
Has anyone experienced this and can give me some pointers on how to proceed?

CAD - as I understand it, modeling / design programs. You can take some kind of open source in Java for designing / modeling very large integrated circuits or systems on a chip and finish it with something fundamentally new. Well, specifically to tell what they took ready-made and added this and that. Or add-ons for existing CAD / CAD programs to write something that greatly simplifies development.
